Thanks to everyone who came to Yoga Day. We loved sharing an abundance of yoga with you.

Join us for a jam-packed day full of amazing yoga: class tasters of many different styles, talks, tasty food, our famous chai, community and much more.

Yoga Day is a wonderful opportunity to sample the best of yoga, with a thoughtfully curated event schedule showcasing the wonderful practices, tools and philosophy that yoga inspires us with.

If you’ve not yet made it to one of our classes, Yoga Day is the perfect chance to explore what we do at Uprising Yoga, as well as find the perfect class, style and teacher to suit you.

Regardless of your experience, we’ll have something for you at Yoga Day. Our aim is to support your health and wellbeing by helping you incorporate some of the tools of yoga in your life.

We’re making the day super affordable, because we’d love to see as many people as possible join us. So spread the word, and bring your friends and family along too.

Classes run from 5:30am – 7:00pm, with more than 20 sessions throughout the day.

Pricing: $15 early-bird pricing until the 20th May, $25 thereafter.

Sun Salutations

Surya Namaskar (the Sun Salutation) is a sequence of postures traditionally practiced at dawn as we greet the rising sun, inviting sunlight to the spirit. Here you’ll be guided through several variations of salutations, balancing strength and softness in body and mind.

Traditional deep relaxation practiced from lying down. It balances the nervous and endocrine systems and induces a state of peaceful alertness and clarity. Yoga Nidra is a deeply healing and nourishing practice.

Recline, relax and absorb the healing power of sounds from singing bowls and the magic space between, known as silence.

Kirtan 

A simple and powerful way to meditate through call and response singing. Kirtan is an effortless and joyful practice that allows us to by-pass the mind and open the heart. All are welcome, no previous singing or chanting experience is needed. Bring an instrument if you have one.
