We’re excited to share news of our first workshop of this year! On Sunday 31 January, Sarah is teaching a workshop which will delve deep into the vinyasa and sun salutation movements.
If you’ve ever felt confused by the Vinyasas and Sun Salutation movements and wondered if you’re doing them ‘right’ or ‘well’, then this is the workshop for you!
Sun salutations and vinyasa movements are a crucial and frequently repeated part of a typical flow yoga class, yet given the fast pace that we typically move through these postures it can be challenging to understand the complexity of each posture and transition, and ensure we move in a way that serves our body well.
This workshop will breakdown the usual suspects: Chaturanga Dandasana (4-Limbed Staff pose), Urdhva Mukha Savasana (Upward Facing Dog pose), and more, as well as some of the common transitions. We’ll explore ways to build strength towards a comfortable number of repetitions, and introduce some alternative movements and posture choices, so you can be more creative and varied in your practice in the future!
Once you better understand these movements, you’ll return to regular classes with greatly improved confidence in these postures, and possess a new repertoire of variations and techniques to apply to support growth in your practice. It’s $35, or $25 for unlimited members. Sunday 31 Jan, 11:00am to 1:30pm. Book online here.
