Welcome to Blocland, Uprising’s specially designed kids’ climbing area!
Blocland has a strict capacity limit, so please book your session to avoid disappointment.
Kids are great at bouldering! Free from the distractions of ropes and harnesses, bouldering is an ideal way to gain movement skills and confidence.
Blocland provides a perfect environment for young children to try bouldering, with climbs designed for smaller people in a safe area separate from our main gym.
Blocland is $5 per child weekdays, and $10 per child weekends and public and school holidays, for a one-hour session.
Sessions run on the hour from 10am-5pm on weekends and 9am-4pm during weekdays.
Uprising members may bring up to two children into Blocland for free*.
*Subject to booking availability (Please book under your name, not your childrens’ names).
Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Climbing shoe hire ($5pp) is available, otherwise clean closed-toe shoes must be worn. Shoe must be kept on while climbing.
Under-5s will find all the challenges they need in Blocland. Children aged 5-13 are also welcome to explore the bigger climbs in the main bouldering gym. See prices here and supervision ratios below.
