Building Blocs 101

Building Blocs Classes will be returning once we are up and running in our new facility. In the meantime, you can explore private coaching options via our Personal Coaching page. 

Building Blocs 101 is the first in a series of adult classes designed to develop fundamental climbing movement skills. Whether you have just started climbing and wish to move forward with a solid foundation, or have been climbing for a while and want to take your technique a step further, Building Blocs will help you develop the skills you need.

Spread across two 90 minute sessions, this class will cover important topics such as how to warm up effectively, how to move optimally through a range of different angles and hold types, and how to prevent injury.

The class will be run by our experienced coach and General Manager Callum Renton.

Building Blocs 201

Feel like you have hit a bit of a plateau? 201 looks at advanced movement techniques for tackling steep terrain and more complex problems. These two 90-minute sessions will expand upon the fundamental movement skills learned in the 101 class and incorporate more advanced footwork, body positioning and tactical skills into your climbing.
